Development and Training

Development offerings - Project Skills

We help to develop the skills and careers of project managers.

Our training helps people who are transitioning into a project management role from a prior role as a scientist / CRA. For those who have more experience these courses are also useful for them to audit their skills against best practice.

Another route is to set up a custom in-work session for a leader and team. See more below.

Leading Cross Functional Teams

Benefits and Summary of Content

This helps new and existing project managers to make an impact with a cross-functional team, in the typical situation - where they are not the expert in everything and do not have direct authority over team members. It will focus on the best ways get team members to play their full part in a project, fashion a proactive and collaborative team. Also how to get the best performance from people who may feel overworked, with efforts divided between more than one project. It will help PMs to deal with performance problems and overcome conflicts. participants will be able to self-analyze in a safe environment and share their own particular challenges.

Format and duration
  • A training course course is ideally run over 1.5 days, either for groups of PMs in an organisation, or run for a hub organisation. It can be delivered face to face or online - over several shorter modules.

  • Another powerful option is to integrate this sort of development into custom sessions for a team. This is the fastest way to make a positive change. See more on this page.
