About PIPMG

Ilaria is a member of the PIPMG Steering Committee. 

Ilaria originally trained as a molecular and cell biologist and has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector. She began her career in drug discovery within large pharmaceutical companies, including GSK and Novartis, working across multiple therapeutic areas before transitioning to the charity sector with a focus on oncology.

Ilaria has held a range of roles in programme management, leadership, and team management at the Cancer Research UK Centre for Drug Development (CRUK‑CDD), where she led multidisciplinary projects advancing small molecules, complex biologics, and cell therapies through preclinical and early clinical development.

Following her time at CRUK‑CDD, Ilaria joined invoX Pharma as Director of Programme Management, where she drove the global delivery of oncology clinical programmes.

​

Since 2025, Ilaria has been working at Blue Earth Diagnostics as a Programme Director, focusing on the development of novel PET radiopharmaceuticals across multiple therapeutic applications.
