Dr Raffaella Mangano

Raffaella is a member of the PIPMG Steering Committee. 

Raffaella leads a team of Project Leaders, Clinical Study Managers and Portfolio Managers, at the Cancer Research UK Centre for Drug Development (CRUK CDD). CDD’s clinical trial portfolio spans different therapeutic modalities through preclinical and early clinical phases.

She started her career with a PhD and post-doc in cell biology at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) and has 20 years’ experience in drug discovery and drug development project and portfolio management in the charity, academia and in the biotechnology sector, working at CRUK CDD and previously at Cellzome (a biotechnology company now part of GSK).
